Dirt Rag Mag - Issue #117 (Builder Profile)
In the well known publication Dirt Rag (The Mountain Bike Forum), there are, from time to time, write ups on talented frame builders from around the nation. Joseph was featured in this issue with a great interview done by Jonathan Maus from BikePortland.org. It begins like this:
"Thousands of shop rats and bike lovers around the country have dreams of being frame builders, but very few of them have the talent, perseverance, timing, cash and luck to make it happen. Joseph Ahearne is one who did, but it wasn't easy..."

.One of the local Portland free Newpapers, the Wilamette Week is a paper that has wide circulation here in Portland. In last years Holiday Gift Guide, the Spaceman Flask Holster was featured as a must have item for the bicycle population in town. "Open container law? It's so blatent, the cops won't even look." |
